Apple will be reporting their quarterly earnings on Monday and many are expecting that they will exceed expectations yet again. FTN Equity Capital analyst Bill Fearnley this morning cut his rating on Apple (AAPL) to Neutral from Buy on a valuation basis, noting that the stock has moved above his $180 price target. He’s hardly a bear on the stock; he notes that Mac sales are above plan, and reports that the new iPod Nano “is a big hit.” He says iPhone sales are in line, with spot shortages. Fearnley raises his EPS estimate for September 2009 fiscal year to $5.97, from $5.94; for 2010, he goes to $7.22, from $7.08
